A Little Bit of Me

Well FINALLY. LOL

I have been threatening to start my own blog for ages and ages, but unfortunately life and responsibilities have always intruded. Last week Thursday I bit the bullet an registered and promised myself that by the end of the weekend I'd have my first post up. So here goes.

I'm a mom of 2 gorgeous children, my son Rainer (20) and daughter Katia (18), that you're sure to get to know as time goes by. I work as an advertising exec for a cellular phone supplier and I LOVE digi-scrapping. I discovered digi-scrapping about 18 months ago and I haven't looked back.

Starting out in this form of scrapping was hectic. Everything I found was tag size and I was screaming for some GOOD stuff. Someone was kind enough to point me in the direction of Kim B's blog and once I discovered that she was a fellow South African, a beautiful friendship was born. Shortly after that Kim kindly invited me to become a CT member and as they say "the rest is history". Kim THANK YOU for everything you do for the digi community, your generous heart, your beautiful kits and your ever kind words regarding my LO's. It's an honor, a privelege and a labour of LOVE to be on your team. The rest of the girls on the team are also the most gorgeous honeys you are ever to meet.

Then we have Kristine, the crazy, effervescent Dork Dancing Wench that kept on RAK'ing me with her wonderful kits. Well, being the shy, retiring type (this all said with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek) I just invited myself to be part of the Wench'd Grafix Design team as well. There I met another bunch of crazy (said in the nicest possible way) girls.

I also want to make a special mention of the QUEEN MARSHMALLOW, Bunny Cates, you are such a darling and your advice and help over the time has always been deeply appreciated.

KIM (I'm still going to figure out how to do the linking thing) and BUNNY have created the most AMAZING, most BEAUTIFUL and most HEARTFELT kit for our CT Leader Jazzy that lost her daughter Lori a while back. I BELIEVE is a kit in memory of Lori and her favourite saying "It only takes a fairy" was inspiration for a whimsical kit that I cannot stop scrapping with. I think I've made about 8 LO's since I got it last week Thursday (yes about 3 a day because I didn't scrap yesterday). Here's one I did this afternoon of my Noa Brat

I call it Into the Looking Glass as Noa was playing with the other "baby" in the mirror.

I've also made a little freebie frame to match the kit that I'd like to offer up as a giftie for my first ever blog post.

It's a wooden cluster frame with some of the elements in the kit. You can collect it here : http://www.4shared.com/file/48067042/7eaaabd9/I_Believe_Frame.html?dirPwdVerified=1524a939

And please leave a comment, I'd love to hear from all the other scrappers out there.

Speak to you all soon.
