Hoarders

It has always driven me crazy that my darling mother is a hoarder, but after this weekend I'm so happy that she is. I've got a bit of a summer cold and stayed home this weekend so that I can get better. Well boredom drove me to go and scratch in my mom's stash. Boy did I find some stunning ribbons and laces!!! Things that she has kept from when I was a kid. Well I've been scanning and photographing like crazy. Now I have to clean it all up LOL.

I think I hate hoarding because my ex had this thing about buying houses, renovating them while we were living in them and then selling them. We used to move at least every 2 years. I never got fond of my kitchens or any special rooms and I learnt that excess stuff just made moving extra difficult. I've now been in this house for 8 years and I definitely don't intend ever moving again. LOL.

Well today my freebie is some blingy ribbons from my mom's stash. I kept them in similar colours as the fireworks. Here's the preview.

And you can get them here http://www.4shared.com/file/75350315/2c442282/Ribbons.html?dirPwdVerified=1524a939. And I'd like to thank everyone that leaves a comment. You don't realise how much I appreciate the little comments and thanks. It makes sitting here at the pc worthwhile.

Have a great day and before I forget WHOOOOHOOO, 2 more working days.

Hugs
Renée

Thanks so much for the purty ribbons Renee!!!! My grandma is a hoarder.....held onto to stuff from she was a girl in 1919...lol
When she sold her house to move to a smaller apt, she took all her "collections" with her...her poor apartment is crammed roof to ceiling with crap.LOL

I hope my kids are someday thankful for my...umm...saving things. Sheesh. I'm going through papers of my mom's, as well as my own, hauled them all out to the dining room and it's do or die! LOL I realized that if it isn't in some sort of useable form, or identified in some way, it will get chucked out. The goal of course, it to get these things in SCRAP form, made into lovely pages, or they will be minus the 'S' for my kids at least.
Thanks for the lovely ribbons.

OOOOH COOL RIBBONS! And my mom was a hoarder too- when she passed away my sisters and I actually sat on the bed crying with laughter- she kept everything from the first cards to our HAIR curls from our first cut! Yup- they might be hoarders but that day will live in my memory forever ;-)

Thanks girl hope you feeling better

HEY! Dont be a hoarder hater! You never know when someone might NEED something you have, wouldnt you feel horrible if you'd HAD it but thru it away and now they were doing without! All because of YOU, and your crazy notion of "tidyness" and "out with the old"! Whats all that space FOR if you arent going to fill it up with "stuff" ANYWAY!?!

*snickers*

Cute ribbons, thanks!!!
