New Release by Valentina's Creations - Dance through the Color

Two New Kits at The Digichick

I'm so lucky that I could work with 2 new kits that released today.

The first by LouCee Creations is a beautiful project 365 kit in her Reminiscence series.  Reminiscence February is dedicated to the month of love and I LOVE the fact that it's in non-traditional colours.

I tried something different with this kit and although I'm still coming to grips with more "arty" style pages, I thinks this is not too bad an attempt.

And then Valentina's Creations has a beautiful Spring/Easter kit "The First Air of the Morning".  This kit has so many possibilities.  Fantasy scenes, slightly vintage and more modern - every style of scrapper will find something in this kit.  And it's available in a bundle with accent, border, cluster, journal card, a hybrid project and some wonderful stamp packs.

I created a little scene with my friend Jenni's gorgeous daughter and her oh so cute grandbaby Mia.

Nel Mio Profondo by Valentina's Creations

I really need to learn to speak Italian.  Valentina's Creations has the most gorgeous new kit called Nel Mio Profondo that's dedicated to the month of love and her husband.  The name has such a delicious ring to it that I had to Google a translation and it came up as "In my deep", so probably Deep In Me or as Profondo would suggest Profoundly Deep In me.  And the contents of this kit is just as delicious as the name.  Beautiful and romantic papers, stunning colours and gorgeous elements.

Katia and I played dress up with the little ones and because Jayden got some fairy wings, Logan also wanted wings and I got him angel wings.  Our own little cupid boy to go with the kit.  LOL

NEW GAB by Valentina's Creations

The Story of My Family is Valentina's contribution to the January GAB at Scrapbook Bytes.  There's 12 different packs from Accents, Clusters, Elements, Papers, Stacked Papers and Word Art and they're all priced at $1 excepting for the Elements at $2.  If you only buy the Elements and Papers, you get 101 elements and 27 papers for $3.  Bargain.  It's an amazing kit to record your family history with a beautiful family tree and gorgeous frames.  Here's 2 LO's I made.  In the first one I used the paper and element packs.

Dollar Days and A Beautiful World

Our summer holidays in South Africa are almost over and things are slowly but surely getting back to "normal".  Most of our schools will be re-opening next week and then everything will be back on track.  I love the Festive Season but really dislike that the shops are too full and that you cannot find parking anywhere.  After six weeks I'm also looking forward to getting my days back to myself.  I LOVE my family and friends but I'm going through an incredibly creative spurt at the moment and all I want is computer time.  LOL.  And that being said, I just got a message from a dear friend that reads "The beauty of life is established when you wake up and realize that people who truly care never fail to REMEMBER you."  Sort of makes me feel a bit selfish now.

OK, on to the good stuff.  Don't you just love scrapping goodies that are a $1 only.  Pixels & Co is having a month of Dollar Days and there's some really fantastic goodies in the shop.  Kim B has already released the Retrospect Mini and Retrospect Alpha.  These items will be available for $1 for the whole month of January.

I just love how clean and fresh this looks.

And then I have to show you this beauty by Valentina's Creations.  A Beautiful World is a stunning fantasy kit with gorgeous elements that makes you feel as if you've stepped right into a story book and Valentina even includes elements with 3D shadows to make it easier to get the right effect.  I made 2 pages with my precious Jayden.  One a fantasy page and one traditional.

Happy New Year & Coordinated Collection at The Studio

I hope this year brings only love, happiness and peace the world over.

Today Digital Scrapbooking Studio released it's quarterly Coordinated Collection called Winter Wedding.  At $1 per product this is a divine collection and I got to play with Valentina's Creations portion.  It's dreamy with a color palette ranging from softest creams with a touch of gold to a beautiful pink.  Valentina's portion has Elements, Papers, Borders, Clusters, Stacked Papers and some incredible Wedding Invitation cutting files.

Shabby Christmas

Valentina's Creations released the gorgeous Shabby Christmas kit today and it's 20% off until Christmas Day.  What I love about this kit is that it's very chic with soft pinks and blues, beautiful vintage elements (as well as some very modern bits) and this makes it one of those very versatile kits.  I did a modern Christmas page, one that has that vintage feel and then a totally non Christmas page and I love how each page came out.

Maria Pia by Valentina's Creations

Today I would like to show off an incredibly beautiful Vintage kit by Valentina's Creations called Maria Pia.  This kit is dedicated to her beautiful 77 year old aunt, Maria Pia.  It's one of those dreamy kits with sepia tones and perfect for me to scrap my Mom and Dad's wedding photos and as my Mom turns 78 on Christmas Day, I'm doing a photobook of her wedding which I think is the perfect present for a lady that has everything.  Mom and Dad got married on 14 September 1957.

GAB at ScrapBookBytes

I'm really late with this post, but we've had some bad storms and had no land lines or internet since Sunday.

Valentina's Creations has the most gorgeous Christmas kit for December GAB called Once Upon a Christmas that has the usual Valentina magic.  Gorgeous borders, clusters, elements, papers, mats, accents, stacked papers, etc.  I absolutely fell in love with the little rocking horse element.  Here's my page

RIP Tata Madiba + Extraordinary Christmas

Our beloved ex-President Nelson Mandela passed on last night after a very long illness and South Africa is in a state of mourning.  Go well Tata and fly on angel's wings. RIP

Stunning Goodies from the Designing Sisters and A Freebie

WHEEEEE, I beat Kim today. I have to rush out, but couldn't go before I shared some stunning goodies from my favourite designers Kim B and her equally talented sister Gaye (GS Creations)

Kim has the most gorgeous Christmas Kit up at ScrapMatters. It's called Elegantly Christmas and it's so soft and like the name says ELEGANT. You know when you get a kit and you just want to produce LO after LO, well that's what this kit does to you. Before I looked I had made 3 LO's. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kit.


Makes you wonder just what she's going to get up to for Black Friday. I personally can't wait to see.
